Hey VegHeads, today I am breaking down my favorite brands for everyday plant based cooking!

As a healthy private chef I understand the importance of choosing the right ingredients and brands to create flavorful and nutrient dense plant-based meals.  In this blog post, I will delve into some of my favorite clean and healthy brands that I rely on for my clean culinary creations. These brands have earned my trust for their commitment to providing high-quality wholesome products.

Side Note: When I say “clean” I mean no vegetable seed oils, minimal to no preservatives, products that contain only natural sweeteners(or are naturally low in sugar), make easy substitutions for traditional products (like grain free pastas). These brands basically they cut out the BS to bring you the highest quality shelf stable products.

WHY I LOVE THEM

Purely Elizabeth Products:

  • Purely Elizabeth is a go-to brand for plant-based granolas and oatmeal cups that are packed with nutrient-dense ingredients like quinoa and chia seeds. These products are not only delicious but also gluten-free and organic, making them a perfect addition to my pantry.

Capello’s Products: Capello's specializes in gluten-free and paleo-friendly pasta and pizza crusts made from almond flour.

These grain free options make for easy swaps to create plant-based Italian dishes that are both wholesome and satisfying and grain free!

Jovial (Brown Rice, Cassava) Pasta:

  • Jovial provides a range of gluten-free pasta options, including brown rice and cassava-based pasta. I find their pasta products are great alternatives to gluten heavy pastas, taste and texture is comparable and cooks the same. 

Simple Mills provides gluten-free baking mixes and crackers made with almond flour. These products allow me to offer my client another alternative to traditional crackers.

Siete:

  • Siete is a go-to brand for grain-free tortillas, chips, dips, and hot sauces. These products cater to grain free items and help me create flavorful plant-based Mexican dishes, without cheese or grains! 

Primal Kitchen:

  • Primal Kitchen is known for its selection of plant-based condiments, dressings, and mayos made with avocado oil. These products are free from artificial ingredients and vegetable seed oils, unlike many condiment brands that contact canola and/or soybean oil. 

Amy’s:

  • Amy's is a trusted brand offering a wide range of organic and vegetarian frozen meals and soups. Their commitment to using high-quality organic ingredients makes their frozen meals a healthy alternative on those busy nights where cooking seems impossible. 

Mary’s Gone offers crackers offers gluten-free, organic, and non-GMO crackers that are perfect for pairing with plant-based dips and spreads. Their variety of flavors adds excitement to all snacks!

Noble Made:

  • Noble Made offers clean and flavorful BBQ sauces, hot sauces and marinades with NO added sugars or artificial ingredients. These products add a kick of flavor to my plant-based creations.

Truvani Protein Powder

  • Turvani offers clean and organic powders that are perfect for adding a protein boost to my plant-based smoothies and recipes. I trust the purity and quality of their products. An added bonus Truvani is the best for baking products as it doesn't leave a chalky taste in your mouth! I find this brand best in all my recipes.

Miyoko’s, Treeline, Kite Hill, MALK, Elmhurst, Three Trees:

  • These brands specialize in dairy-free alternatives like plant-based cheeses and nut milks with added stabilizers and gums. Their innovative products allow me to create a wide range of plant-based alternatives with ease.

Kettle & Fire, Bonafide, Broth Masters, Brodo

These brands offer plant-based bone broths and soups made with real, high-quality ingredients. Their products serve as a flavorful base for all soups and stews.These brands are the perfect choice for post surgery recovery and women who are postpartum.
